Legal aspects of NPP construction projects will be discussed at “Atomexpo 2016”

Financial and legal aspects of nuclear power plant construction projects in various countries of the world will be discussed at the round-table meeting in the course of the forthcoming VIII International Forum “Atomexpo 2016” in Moscow. Within the recent years, a growing number of countries have made statements about their willing to develop nuclear power at home. In this connection, interest in legal and financial matters arising in realization of nuclear power plant construction projects grows. Participants of the round-table meeting will discuss financial and legal problems associated with construction, in partnership with Russia, of such projects as the 3-d and the 4-th units of Kudankulam NPP in India, Hanhikivi-1 NPP in Finland, as well as they will give consideration to the role of government in development of nuclear power projects. The annual international forum “Atomexpo 2016” is the largest Russian exhibition and business venue for meetings and negotiations between world leaders of the nuclear power sector. Organizer of “Atomexpo 2016” is State Nuclear Energy Corporation “Rosatom”.
