Fuad Akhundov,
Deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of Akkuyu Nuclear JSC

A graduate of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and the Business School at the University of Texas, holds degrees of the Japan Center for International Finance and the Joint Vienna Institute of the IMF.

Fuad Akhundov started his career in 1986 at the Ministry of Defense of the USSR, where he held various positions, including Head of Research Sector in Special Construction Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

From 1991 he held various positions at the State Committee for Economy and Planning and in the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan.

From 1993 he worked in the banking system as the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Azerbaijan. Headed the group at negotiations with the IMF and the World Bank and developed the structure of the first IMF loans received by the country.

Was one of the founders of the Currency Control Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. From 1995 to 2001 held a position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA). Under his leadership, the IBA became a leader of the banking system in the region through the implementation of the country's first ATMs and credit cards.

 From 2001 to 2003 - Chief Executive Officer, First Vice President of IBG NIKoil.

 From 2003 to 2006 – President, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC Bank UralSib. Headed the process of transformation of medium-sized Russian bank into one of the leaders of the Russian banking system, with more than 500 branches in 95 cities.

In 2006 created United Capital Investment Group, also was a member of the Supervisory Board of Silkroutefinancial Ltd., London. United Capital Investment Group held a number of major transactions, including the sale of confectionery manufacturing company Korkunov, mobile phone retailer Euroset, and implemented a number of projects in the CIS countries in the field of essential commodities of mass demand and consumption.

From 2012 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of UralSib Asset Management Company and Chief Executive Officer of OJSC ZNAK. In 2012 г. was elected to the Board of Directors of UralSib Financial Corporation.


  

Oleg Titov, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Operations Support

 

Oleg Titov graduated from Moscow Power Engineering Institute by the profession of an electrical engineer in 1986. From 1987 he worked in the Foreign Economic Association Technopromexport in the positions of an engineer, senior expert of the association, and from 1993 to the end of 2001 – Chief Representative of  Technopromexport in the People's Republic of Bangladesh, where two thermal power plants were constructed – Gorazal, with the total capacity of 990 MW and Siddirganch 1х220 MW, hereby “Siddirganch” TPP was constructed on a “turn-key” basis. From 2002 he worked for ALSTOM as the projects manager, projects director, and in 2004 he started working for Siemens as the Director of the Projects Department of Oil and Gas division. From 2009 he worked for  Siemens as the Director of the Fossil Power Generation Department and from 2011 – as the Deputy General Director for Sales of Siemens’s joint venture (Siemens Gas Turbines Technologies ) with Power Machines in Russia and Central Asia.

 

 


  

Kazakov Grigoriy Borisovich, Deputy CEO for Finance - Chief Financial Officer

Grigory B. Kazakov has graduate from I.M. Gubkin State Academy of Oil and Gas with a degree in Economics and Company Management in Oil and Gas Industry. He has started his carrier in 1997 in the Energy Industry Audit Department with PricewaterhouseCoopers Moscow and later in Transaction Services Department, where he was responsible for preparation of companies for IPO and assisted clients during acquisitions. From 2003 through 2005 he worked in the Project Office of YUKOS oil company where dealt with transformation of the business processes within finance function with the aim to reduce reporting timelines. From 2005 through 2011 Grigory B. Kazakov was the Vice-president of finance and accounting and later as CFO in Urals Energy Oil Company and took part in the initial and subsequent placements of Company’ shares on the London Stock Exchange; he performed financial management of the Company and provided raising of debt and equity funds as well as was responsible for investor relations on the London Stock Exchange. He is a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has a RF Auditor Certificate. Before joining AKKUYU NUCLEAR JSC  Grigory B. Kazakov was a “Turkey Project” Director in Rusatom Overseas CJSC.

 

 




 
Ilya Smirnov, Legal & Corporate Affairs Director since 2014


A graduate of the Moscow State University of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, specialist in legal science. Holds a PhD in law and an MBA degree of Dowling College (USA). In 1993-1995 held a position of legal advisor and Head of Legal Department of Sprint Group of Companies (currently known as Orange Business Services). In 1995 took an office in Global TeleSystems, Inc. (GTS), a company engaged in the DLD and ILD services development and communication networks construction in the regions of Russia. In 1999 the company Golden Telecom, Inc. separated from GTS and held a successful IPO in the NASDAQ Stock Market. During his employment Ilya Smirnov made his way from legal advisor to the Head of Legal Department, in July, 2006 he was appointed to the position of Vice President, Chief Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Golden Telecom, Inc. public company (NASDAQ: GLDN). In 2008 100% of shares of Golden Telecom, Inc. were bought out by OJSC VimpelCom (Beeline), and Ilya Smirnov was appointed to the position of Chief Legal Officer of OJSC VimpelCom Russia business unit. 

 

 


 

 

Sergey Kudinov, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Security

 

Sergey A. Kudinov graduated from the North Caucasus Academy of Public Administration. After his service in the armed forces, he led the Assets Protection Department of the Integrated Safety and Security Directorate of the Branch Center of the Capital Construction of Rosatom Atomic Energy State Corporation. Later Sergey A. Kudinov was appointed the Head of the Economic Security Directorate of Concern Rosenergoatom JSC (the largest enterprise of the electric power industry of Russia and the only company in the country, which acts as an operator of the nuclear power plants). During his work in companies of Rosatom Atomic Energy State Corporation, Sergey A. Kudinov actively participated in implementation of the set of activities against corruption, improvement of the system to prevent potential economic damage to companies and elaboration of the regulatory framework to interact with the law enforcement agencies. Sergey A. Kudinov was decorated with corporate rewards, the decoration “For Contribution in Nuclear Industry Development” 2nd class and a commendation of Rosatom Atomic Energy State Corporation.
